  Industrial applications of nanoceramics

As part of the nanoworld, Nanoceramics display numerous    functionalities thanks to their compositions and their morphology. The large specific surface creates intense interactions with the ambient medium, thus authorizing high efficacy at very low concentrations. The small size of nanoparticles allows creating stable suspensions for inkjet inks. In addition, very small perturbations of transparent media and compatibility with protein open a wide range of applications. Authentication, tagging and decoration (luminescent, phosphorescent and coloured pigments), reinforcement of polymers (mechanical, tribology, fire and UV resistance), as well as biotech (Xray sensitive, bactericides, markers and magnetic particles) are some examples of what it is already possible to achieve with ceramic nanomaterials. DGTec is looking for industrial partners to industrialize and promote its technological portofolio and to enhance its technological know how in nanoceramics, focused to large scale applications.
